Transportation
There are two ways to get to Donoussa.
- The first is with the BLUE STAR FERRIES from Piraeus, a trip that lasts about 7 hours.
- The second is through Naxos, with Skopelitis, a trip that lasts about 4 hours..
For boat owners things are simpler. The port of Donoussa has undergone several operations in 2021 & 2022 to become safe and accept large and small boats and sailboats. The safest point for mooring is inside the jetty for greater protection from the north and west winds when the weather is very bad you can anchor next to it, in the bay of Kedros.
There is no gas station on the island, so those of you who decide to bring a means of transportation with you, make sure you have the tank full. Also no motorbikes or cars are rented.
